Recently, I was exploring the Flower Mound River Walk.

I noticed a young man who looked a little misplaced. He was pacing about and appeared to be a little agitated.

He appeared to be deep in thought. 

After a moment or two, he lumbered over to a rock wall formation and appeared to be searching the surroundings, as if he were trying to locate someone.

I liked the location and attempted to persuade the young man to let me photograph him. 

He didn’t seem to be too receptive at the moment. 

I was going to attempt to coax him a little more, but he then excused himself.  It appeared he saw someone he was looking for and took off to a different part of the park.

It must’ve been a false alarm for I noticed him later hanging around a different location on the river walk

He still seemed distracted and a bit more tense. 

He jumped up and headed back to the rock wall area. As he did, He turned for a moment and gave me a disapproving look. So, I politely backed off and gave him room. 

To my surprise, I next saw him on the rocks playing his guitar.  Perhaps he was hoping to make himself more visible as he waited for his missing date, or he was just killing time.

 I approached him once more as he played the guitar.

I asked again if I could photograph him while he waited, but again, I was rebuffed. 

I’m not exactly sure what is going on with this young man. The last time I saw him, he was walking away….alone.
